NTA NEET Photograph & Signature: Do’s & Don’ts
- Plain White Background: Background must be solid white. No patterns, colors, or shadows.
- 80% Face Coverage: Candidate's face, neck, and ears must occupy 80% of the picture frame.
- Running Signature: Signature must be executed in running handwriting with a black ink pen.
- Fingers & Thumb Impressions: Left and right hands fingers and thumbs impressed cleanly on plain paper.
- File Compression: Photo & Postcard between 10 KB and 200 KB; Signature strictly between 4 KB and 30 KB.
- No Spectacles / Sunglasses: Spectacles with colored or tinted glasses are not allowed.
- No Caps, Hats, or Masks: Head coverings are only permitted for religious traditions, ensuring the full face is visible.
- No Capital Letter Signatures: Signatures in all CAPITAL letters are strictly prohibited by NTA.
- No Polaroid or Computer Printout Photos: Photos must be taken with a professional camera or crisp smartphone lens.
- No Blurry Thumb Impressions: Smudged or overlapping ink marks will be rejected during verification.
