These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding contract between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Camly Private Limited ("Camly", "we", "us", or "our"), the owner and operator of the website https://camly.org and all associated services, tools, and features (collectively referred to as the "Service" or "Platform").
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE SERVICE. BY ACCESSING OR USING ANY PART OF THE SERVICE, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS, WHICH CONTAIN AN ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using Camly.org in any way — including using the image editor, PDF tools, conversion features, or any other functionality — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for updates.
2. Description of the Service
Camly is a free, web-based, client-side image and PDF editing platform. It allows users to resize, crop, rotate, flip, adjust colors, apply filters, add text, convert between formats, merge images into PDFs, edit PDF pages, compress files, and perform various other creative and productivity tasks.
Technical Specificity
All processing occurs locally in your web browser using client-side technologies (such as JavaScript, HTML5 Canvas, and WebAssembly). As an architectural fundamental, no files or data content you upload are ever transmitted to or stored on our servers. This local-first logic is the cornerstone of our commitment to your privacy.
The Service is provided "AS IS" and free of charge for both personal and commercial use, subject to these Terms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific performance levels.
3. User Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age or the minimum legal age of digital consent in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher) to use the Service. By using Camly, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that you have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian to use the Service.
4. Privacy and Data Protection
Our data handling practices are governed by our Privacy Policy. Because Camly is a client-side application, we do not collect or store your creative content. However, our hosting infrastructure may collect limited technical logs (e.g., IP addresses, browser version) for operational security and debugging. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of this technical data as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. License Grant & Restrictions
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, educational, and internal business purposes.
Prohibited Conduct:
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure.
- Using the Service to create or distribute illegal or harmful content.
- Interfering with the proper functioning of the website.
- Automating the Service via bots, scrapers, or scripts without permission.
- Reverse engineering or decompiling our client-side code.
- Using the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive activities.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
Camly Property: All designs, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software, and other materials on the Service are the property of Camly Private Limited or its licensors. These are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
User Content: You retain all ownership rights in and to the images and PDFs you process using Camly. We do not claim any ownership over your content. Because processing is local, we do not have access to, nor do we store, any of your content.
7. Disclaimers & No Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. CAMLY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

As the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount of fifty US Dollars ($50.00).
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Camly and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of: (a) your use and access of the Service, by you or any person using your network; (b) a breach of these Terms, or (c) Content processed on the Service that infringes third-party rights.
